Description:

Cocoa nibs are obtained from the seed, once roasted and crushed. With a soft, slightly bitter taste, they can be used as a snack or to add as a topping in any yogurt, smoothie, ice cream, etc.

With a crunchy touch they provide a great nutritional value since they mainly conserve all the positive components of cocoa such as magnesium and other minerals, as well as antioxidants. Experts recommend them because they have a stimulating effect on the nervous system thanks to its contribution of theobromine and improve mood thanks to its tryptophan that releases serotonin and endorphins. Other lovers of nibs use them in diets because they help control appetite and improve circulation.

We particularly recommend it because it comes from fair trade Peruvian cocoa harvests, on the slopes of the Andes, where it also takes care of the environment during its cultivation.

Thanks to fair trade, these small producers of "La Central" are improving both their quality of life and the production of coffee and the environment, protecting the Bahuaja Sonene National Park and the Tambopata - Cadamo Reserve.
