It is our Premium Tea par excellence, a continental Sencha that offers herbal aromas and umami flavor.
Its particularity lies in the fact that it is a Kabusecha or kabuse tea, which is the cultivation method, in this case 100% organic, of the most select teas. It consists of these teas remaining in the shade 20 or 30 days before they are harvested, causing this semi-darkness to trigger more theanine and amino acids, thus achieving a greater "ooika" or special aroma. The plant, being deprived of sunlight, compensates for this gloom by absorbing more minerals from the earth and therefore a richer tea remains.
